This is Microsoft's unreleased AI super app
A leaked screenshot shows a new Autopilot tab and OpenClaw-like agent called Scout. Also: Weekend links, and a controversial new AI startup.
I’m in New York City next week for some meetings and the new media soirée I’m co-hosting with a16z. Attendees are getting a free annual subscription to Sources. Today, I’ve got a scoop about Microsoft’s AI plans, some good links, and an interview with the founder of a controversial new AI startup that named itself “AI slop” backward.
Microsoft is building a single app that folds its scattered Copilot tools into one place: chat, coding, the Cowork task assistant, and a new agentic layer called Autopilot, per my sources.
Fortune’s Sebastian Herrera first reported on the Copilot super app project this morning. The leaked screenshot above, which I’m publishing for the first time, shows what it actually looks like, including a previously unreported, proactive agent named Scout.
