YouTube CEO Neal Mohan has announced a sweeping reorganization of the streamer’s leadership team and a “voluntary exit program” for US employees, according to sources.
“Looking to the future, the next frontier for YouTube is AI, which has the potential to transform every part of the platform,” Mohan said in an internal memo, which you can read in full below. “We need to set ourselves up to make the most of this opportunity.” He called the changes the first update to YouTube’s “core leadership structure” in a decade.
