ElevenLabs CEO on building an "omni" audio AI and funding rumors

My full Sources Live conversation with Mati Staniszewski during the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Today I’m publishing my full interview with ElevenLabs CEO and co-founder Mati Staniszewski, which took place last week in front of a live audience at Brunswick Home on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

As I say at the start of our conversation, ElevenLabs is having a moment. The company is in the process of raising another big funding round (which Mati confirmed during our interview), potentially making it the most valuable tech startup in Europe, and recently hit $330 million in annual recurring revenue. ElevenLabs has carved out a space in the audio side of the AI race, which it seems to be currently winning.

Mati and I discuss the origin story of ElevenLabs, the significance of the “omni” AI audio model he’s developing that he hopes to ship this year, and how he sees the company evolving its relationships with both creators and the music industry. We talk a lot about the technology itself and the business, but we also get a little philosophical along the way.

Stay tuned for more of my Sources Live interviews in Davos over the coming days. And thanks to Disruptive for making this interview possible.
